Deb Dales and family
Meet Sweat Pee! This loving senior pug comes to the MMR Family, along with two other dogs named Mookie and Madeline.Sweet Pea and Mookie were puppy mill survivors mistreated by breeders. But that does not change their wonderful personalities. Both are very forgiving, loving, wonderful companions.
Sweet pea and Mookie are considered special needs dogs due to paralysis. A “special needs” pet is no different when it comes to being a dog. They love just as much, play just as hard, and love their family like any other dog. Most special needs dogs do not know they are special needs. The only difference is that special needs dogs require a little more attention or dedication; but they are well worth the effort. Many special needs dogs have gone through significant trauma and need emotional support as much as physical. But each dog is an individual, and their needs are based on the understanding of who they are.
Sweet pea, is a young 13 years old puggy; And although she is considered adaptable, due to her her age and disability she she may live out her life with us. More to come on her soon...
Their bodies may seem damaged, but their will to live is as strong as ever.
